Cargo bikes need parking space, too

Düsselforf Arcaden is the first property in Düsseldorf with parking spaces for cargo bikes. Together with CMD, a subsidiary of the City of Düsseldorf, we built a space for the centre’s customers to park their bikes separately and comfortably. Moving forward, cargo bikes will continue to grow as a part of the cityscape, thanks to the strong support of the city for this means of transport. In the community, cargo bikes are already largely used successfully by transport and logistics companies, as well as by families. They are ideally suited to replace driving in inner-city traffic: children can easily be transported to school or their various activities by cargo bike, with the added benefit of low emissions. 

Tesla Superchargers at Pasing Arcaden and Ruhr Park

In an exciting long-term partnership with Tesla, a total of 28 Tesla Superchargers were installed by mid-2021 in our destinations Pasing Arcaden and Ruhr Park. Tesla invested in the infrastructure and operational costs and agreed to share key data about the stations’ use with the Group. Already, in April, close to 3,000 charging sessions had taken place in Pasing Arcaden, where the first Superchargers were installed.

With charging time of only 25-30 minutes to reach 80% battery capacity (approximately 1.5 hours to reach 100%), the new charging points complement the alternative charging services on offer.
