Our industry looks ahead
In September 2020 Viparis welcomed the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) annual conference 2020, at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris.
For the very first time the event was in a hybrid format – both physical and digital – to ensure that those affected by Covid-19 restrictions were still able to participate in the discussion.
Organised around the theme of “Re-Generation”, the event aimed to pinpoint strong and innovative solutions to ensure the industry’s future following the economic and health challenges posed by the pandemic.
The meetings, roundtables and debates on the agenda enabled AIPC members from all over the world to share their experiences safely and constructively and reflect together on issues to be tackled.
What emerged clearly was a shared desire among AIPC members to emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever. The resourcefulness on display marks a major step towards a vibrant future for our sector and beyond.
