The health and wellbeing of our retailers, visitors and colleagues is our top priority, and URW takes every measure possible to ensure our destinations are safe for all our visitors.
To help us in this we have the support and guidance of Bureau Veritas, world leaders in testing, inspection and certification services.
Together with Bureau Veritas and the support of epidemiologists, we created the “Safe & Healthy Places” certification, developed specifically for URW shopping destinations.
Bureau Veritas conducted a review and audit of all URW shopping centres in Europe in 2020, which have now achieved this official hygiene and safety excellence certification.
Also, in the USA, Bureau Veritas conducted an audit of our health and safety practices, policies, and procedures. 28 of our US shopping centres are now certified with the industry-leading hygiene and safety excellence label, SafeGuardTM.
These successful audits demonstrate URW’s compliance with the highest standards of hygiene and safety excellence and provide an extra layer of reassurance for everyone.
We will keep working to ensure our communities feel safe and confident that everything is in place to protect them.
